FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
I'm interested, but I don't dance or am scared to try.
Almost ALL of our AO1 members have had NO PRIOR DANCE EXPERIENCE coming into the team. We foster a safe space, embracing the body God has created to ultimately worship. While we train and equip our dancers with fundamentals, our main focus is on building faith-filled relationships and glorifying God.
I have a commitment (academy/summer camp) during the day so time is an issue.
Our program occurs during 5-7PM for middle schoolers and 7-9PM for high schoolers on weekdays. And our third practice of the week occurs during the day on Saturday. The program is specifically designed so that you don't have to worry about clashing schedules.
